"Someone once said, that all that glitters isn't gold."

"Who daddy?"

Shrugging his shoulders. "I don't know."

"Well if you don't know who said it, how do you know they said it?

"'Cause someone told me, okay?"

"Who told you?"

"I'm not sure?"

"So how do you know that it's the truth?"

"It just is okay?"

"Why?"

"Just cause."

"Why?"

"Cause I said so."

Scounging up his face, "That's not a very good reason."

Bending over and kissing his son on the forehead, he quickly prepares the little munchkin for bed and goes to flash out.

"Dadd---y", a voice starts in mid yawn. "If all that glitters isn't gold, then what is it?"

Sighing at his inquisitive son that could hold onto a issue like a dog with a bone. "It's something else."

"What?"

"Just not gold."

"So what is it?"

"I don't know baby," breathing deeply. "Tell you what, you go to sleep now, and I'll help you to figure it out tomorrow."

"Why not tonight?"

"Cause it's late."

"So?"

"And you need to sleep."

"Why?"

"Cause you do."

"Why, I'm not sleepy?"

"Looking his son straight in the eye before flashing out. "Cause I said so."

To the room at large. "That's not a very good reason daddy, but don't worry," smiling michievously, "If all that glitters is not gold, I'll find out what it is."
