*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
I's sittin' here, wigglin' in my chair, trying to sit still as I waits for Grandpa Ares to come and get me. I's gonna spend the day with him, and we's gonna have fun. He said we gets to go make people happy an' fun stuff.
I sat an' sat for what seemed like forever, but Daddy and Daddy Strife says that it o'ly been 5 minutes since I askeded.
*FLASH* *SPARKLE* "Gwandpa Awees!!! Yaaaaay!!!" I leapted at my favoritest grandpa in the whole wide Olympus. I giggleded as his beard tickleded me when he kisseded my cheek. My Grandpa Ares is furry!!
"T'row me!! T'row me!" I sqealeded, flappin' my wings.
"Now, Bliss," saided Daddy, but Grandpa Ares just laugheded and threw me into the air. I shriekeded with laughter (I dunno, it's somethin' that Grandma 'Dite says), and flappeded my wings to stay in the air.
Grandpa caught me, an' threw me again. I flappeded again, but this time, he pulled me down. He kepted throwin' me and I kepted flappin'. It was lotsa fun.
Finally, Grandpa saided that was enough, so's I huggeded my daddies an' Grandpa Ares poofted us away ((Thanks, Corona, for the term!)). We poofted to his temple in Thrace, into one of the back rooms. There was all kindsa stuff on the table, paper an' wood an' cloth. I askeded Grandpa whats we gonna do, and he saided make kites.
"Gwanpa, kites is those big bwids. You can't make on!" I giggleded.
"Not a bird kite, Blissy. And that's spelled K-Y-T-E, not K-I-T-E, which is what we're going to make. Here, I'll show you." an' Grandpa starteded to work.
I watcheded him, gluein' an' wrappin' an' cuttin' all that fun stuff. I askeded him if I could see, an' he saided to be patient. I hate it when people say that!!
Finally, 10 years later, Grandpa was finisheded. The kite thingy was blue an' shimmery an' pretty an' it had a long white tail o' somethin' soft...
"So, whaddaya do wiff it, Gwanpa?" I wanna know what it did. I pokeded it, but it dinn't move.
"It flies, Blissy." he pickeded it up, and took it an' me outside the temple. He tol' me to hold on to the end of the string that he tieded on, and walkeded a coupla yards away.
"OK, now tell me when you're ready for me to throw it into the air, all right?" Gwandpa saided.
I noddeded an' waited until I could feel a breezy. I knew i would be able to get up, sos I tol' Grandpa to let the kite go.
WAY COOL!! It flews up into the air and bobbeded aroun', doin' loop-the-loops and dips and dives. This was a mega cool toy!
Grandpa and I stayed out for hours until a tree ate my kite. I crieded, but Grandpa saided he'd make another one for me soon.
I cheered up and asked him what we was gonna do now. He saided it was nap time, an' askeded if I wanted a story. I bounceded so high, I almost flewed. Grandpa laugheded at me, an' pulled me down an' carrieded me to the bedroom where he tuckeed me into bed.
"So, you want a story?" I noddeded, so he beganed to talk.
"It was a dark and stormy night, and we were all gathered around the campfire, and the scoutmaster said, "Tony, give us a story. So Tony began, "It was a dark and stormy night, and we were all gathered around the campfire, and the scoutmaster said, "Tony, give us a story!" So Tony began, "It was a dark and stormy night..."
Grandpa talkeded like that until I felled asleep. I don' know if Tony ever tolded a story.
When I wokeded up, Granpa said that it was time to go home. I pouteded, but then he said that I could spend the day with him next Sa'urday. Yay!
The End.
