Summary: 1st part of the 'Prophecy Saga' My little spin into true madness as my slash muse and the Fates run wild. Four infants are sent from the Olympian Pantheon into the future to stop Dahok and his Descendant from plunging the world into darkness.
Authors Note: I couldn't help myself. For whatever reasons my muse Rayne has decided I should be writing crossovers filled with prophecies and that the Fate's should have free reign in my head. *Grabs Tylenol* Anyways I'm gonna apologize now cuz all of these stories are going to go from one end of the spectrum to another.

Darkness banished and the Light Restored.
Child of Hate
Child of Pain and Darkness
Blood of Dahok and the One
Darkness shall reign eternal if the Light is doused.
Hera sat in her temple reading the prophecy and sighed. This was going to be her hardest job as a parent and a sister. How was she to tell them that their Children would be taken so far away from them?
She could still hear the Fates. "You must tell them. Without their sacrifice Olympus will perish and Dahok will rule."
Shaking her head she summoned the four couples to her. Ares and Joxer were the first to arrive followed by Strife and Cupid. Both Hades and Persephone and Aphrodite and Hepheastus arrived together.
Joxer, Strife, Aphrodite and Persephone were all six months pregnant.
"Is there something wrong, Mother?" Ares asked. The war God could see the strain clearly on his mother's face.
Hera sighed and said, "Yes there is?" Picking up the parchment she read to them the prophecy. As she did so she watched all of their faces, for reactions.
"What does this mean, sister?" Hades asked. The others nodded behind him.
"It mean your children will be taken from you and sent to the future before the Twilight and Battle." Hera said. Looking at them she continued, "For their survival as well as theirs they must be sent away."
"No!!!" Ares, Heph and Cupid said as one. They pulled their spouses into their arms.
"Mother, you can't take our children from us." Hepheastus said.
"I won't let you take our baby." Cupid said firmly. His father had pulled Joxer into his arms as was comforting the distraught God of Peace.
Before Hera could say anything Persephone said quietly, "Hades..."
"No Persephone." Hades turned and walked to her. Taking her hands he said, "We've tried so hard and for so long for this chance."
"I know. I also know that I want to give our baby a chance at life." She laid her head against his chest, "Hades if we don't do this, not only will we perish, but they will along with us."
The God of the underworld closed his eyes and addressed his sister, "When?"
"When they are born." Hera said.
Looking at his wife he said, "S be it then."
The others looked at each other and nodded solemnly.
Hera nodded and said, "I swear to you, you will see your children again."
The all nodded and flashed from her temple.
Somewhere outside of Amphipolis
Gabriele slinked away from camp and headed towards the river. Xena was fast asleep so she didn't notice her companion's departure.
Once at the river the bard called out, "Dahok?"
There was a flash of light and a handsome blond man walked out of the shadows.
"My love." The bard threw herself into his arms and kissed him passionately.
Pulling back Dahok said, "It's time my love." The pair then vanished in a shower of light.
The stupid girl had no idea what lay ahead for her.
The next morning Xena awoke to find Gabby sitting by the fire with a smile on her face. Her hand lay over her stomach.
"Morning." Xena grumbled as she made her way to the river to wash. She didn't notice her friend's whisper.
"Soon. Very soon my little one." Gabby smiled as she thought of the child she would have. The Child of Dahok.
Prophecy 2/?

3 months later
The attack came swiftly and without warning. While Zeus and Hercules battles Dahok and his minions, Athena, Artemis and the others erected a shield around Olympus. Hera, Ace and Apollo delivered the babies when the first strike came.
Due to the severity of the situation, all four of the infants were cut from their parents. Ares and Joxer's son was delivered first. Next came Strife and cupid's son. Aphrodite and Hepeastus had a son as well. Hades and Persephone though had a daughter.
Another blow rocked Olympus and Hera turned to her family, "It's time."
"A few seconds, my sister. Please." Hades pleaded with Hera.
She nodded. They really didn't have any time to spare, but she owed it to them.
Ares held his husband and son close. "He's beautiful." Their son had most of Joxer's features, but he had Ares' eyes hair and sword shaped birthmark on his thigh.
Joxer nodded. The God of Peace was barley coping with the situation. "Yes he is." Looking at Ares he said, "I love you."
Ares smiled and kissed his husband. Similar conversations and gestures were exchanged between each couple except Hades and Persephone.
Looking at her daughter, Persephone commented, "She is so beautiful."
"Just like her mother." Hades said. Their daughter looked exactly like her mother.
"Faith." Persephone whispered.
"What?" Hades asked his wife.
"Faith. That's what her name should be. Because we had so much faith in ourselves."
Hades nodded and held his family close, for possibly the last time.
Hera waved her hand and four cradles appeared. As she did so the sky turned black and lightning crisscrossed the sky. Zeus and Hercules had fallen. Olympus was right behind them.
"We have no more time to wait, " Hera commanded them. She watched sadly as the four children were placed into their cradles. With one last look she transported them to their destinations.
"Now what?" The Goddess of Love asked from her husband's arms.
"We wait." Hera answered simply. Their fates in this time were sealed.

Xena stopped Argo and looked to her friend, "You okay Gabby?" The warrior princess had been worried about her friends for sometime.
"Yes, just a bit tired." In truth the infant was slowly draining her energy, though she wasn't aware of it.
Xena nodded her head and clicked her tongue. When the sky changed, Gabby smiled and said, "Zues and Hercules have failed. My love has won."
Startled Xena looked to the Amazon, "What are you talking about?"
At that moment Dahok appeared in a flash of light. "Come Gabriele. It's time." He held his hand out to her.
Xena drew her sword, "Stay behind me Gabriele." Looking at Dahok she growled, "Leave her alone."
Dahok sneered at her and sent her flying with a wave of his hand. Before Xena could pick herself up they were gone.
The Warrior Princess was stunned and very confused. She had no idea what in Zues' name was going on.

Los Angeles CA
Angel stood outside the orison waiting on Faith. The Slayer had been released early on good behavior and he'd offered to give her a job.
Looking up when the door opened, Angel watched as she walked down the steps. Faith's hair was longer and she looked tired.
"Faith." He said evenly.
"Hey Angel. What's up?" The Slayer gave the Prison one final look and sighed.
"Not much. I thought I'd save you the ride of the bus and come and get you." He smiled softly.
Faith was surprised, "Thanks." She got in the car as did Angel.
As they drove she asked, "You think the others will be okay with me coming to work there?"
Angel shrugged, "Cordy, Fred and Gunn seemed okay. Connor too." Angel had written Faith many letters about his son.
Faith noticed that he left out her former Watcher. "What about Wes?"
At the stop light Angel turned to her and said, "Wesley didn't say anything, but it may take him some time to get used to the idea."
"True. I did try and kill him." Faith sighed and sank further into the seat.
Angel reached a hand over and said, "Look don't worry about it. I trust you."
Faith smiled and squeezed his hand. She had been slightly shocked at fist by the feel of his hand. While she'd been in prison Angel's letters had been her only sense of comfort.
By the time they pulled up outside of the hotel Faith was sound asleep. Rather than wake her up, Angel picked her up and carried her inside.
The only one up was Loren. The demon looked up from his newspaper and said, "That her?"
"Yeah." Angel answered and carried Faith upstairs to one of the empty bedrooms. Loren just shook his head and went back to reading.
In the room Angel set Faith Down and pulled the covers over her. He stood there for a few moments, watching her sleep. The Vampire couldn't explain it but he felt this great urge to protect her.
After awhile he left the room and headed for his own bed after checking up on Connor.

Xander stretched and yawned as he woke form his nap. Strong arms wrapped around him and pulled him close. He snuggled close and said, "You know we have to get up."
"Why?" a very put out sounding voice asked.
"Because the girls can't patrol on their own and Dawnie is with them." Xander replied as he pressed a kiss to his lover's throat.
"Fine. If you insist." Spike answered as he sat up. Placing a quick peck on Xander's lips he slid out of the bed and pulled his clothes on. Xander laid on the bed watching him for a moment before following suit.
When the pair were dressed they headed out of Spike's crypt and headed for the far side of the cemetery were Willow Tara and Dawn were.
The three girls were waiting for them with gear in hand.
"Hey Spike. Xander. We were wondering if you two were going to show." Dawn said as she handed them their crossbows.
"Yeah well Xanpet here didn't want to get out of bed so I had to bribe him to come out." Spike said with a grin at the young girl.
"Hey. Excuse me, If I remember correctly it you who didn't want to get out of bed." Xander stuck his tongue out at Spike.
"Now luv, ya know better than tha'." Spike said as he dropped his crossbow to pull Xander close for a deep kiss. The two stood like that moaning and kissing until the girls cleared their throats.
"You know as much as we love to watch we do have work to do." Willow said with a smile.
Spike growled playfully and picked his crossbow up while Dawn just smirked at Xander. The girls had known about them from the beginning. It was Dawn in fact who had made Xander and spike realize they were in love.
"Come on then Kiddies. Time to go a'huntin'." Spike commented and the group made their way through Sunnydale patrolling.

Faith slid out of bed and dressed. She had been surprised that Angel had bought her clothes. It was strange but Angel was really the one person she could call a friend.
Heading downstairs she heard Angel and the others talking. She stood in the shadows listening.
"So who is this girl anyways?" Gunn asked form behind the front desk.
"A friend. She was or rather is a Slayer." Angel answered. "You gonna come out and meet everyone?" Angel called out to her.
Everyone watched as Faith came down into the lobby.
"I forgot about all of those vampy senses of yours." Faith said as she stood just outside of the circle. Looking around she noticed that Wesley wasnm't around.
"Guys this is Faith. Faith that's Gunn and Fred." He pointed to the couple. "You know Cordy." He gestured to the former cheerleader who smiled and waved. "That's Lorne." He motioned to the demon in the red suit. "And this is Connor." Angel laid his hand on the shoulder of the teenager next to him.
"Hey." Faith said to everyone. Looking at Angel she said, "Uh thanks for the clothes."
"No problem. I had Cordy help me out." Angel answered.
"Well thanks anyways. So this is were you guys moved to, huh? Nice." She looked around and then stopped, "So what now?"
"Well you get settled in and then you can help us out. We could always use some more muscles." Cordy answered. After listening to angel she'd realized that none of them really knew Faith.
"Cool."
"Angel, I..."Wesley began as he entered the hotel, but stopped when he saw Faith.
"Faith." The former Watcher nodded to his former charge and headed for his office. The door closed with a slam.
"Maybe this wasn't such a good idea Angel. I mean Wes looks fit to be pissed. It's not like he doesn't deserve to be I did try to kill him." Faith said.
"Well you tried to kill me too and I want you here. Give Wes sometime. He'll get over it."
Looking at Angel she asked, "Then why do I feel like time's running out?"

//One month later//
"Xander!!!" Spike yelled as his lover was tossed into the side of the crypt by a Turlo demon. The vampire rushed over and yanked the demon from the boy before the demon could feast.
Yanking Xander up he said, "Let's go!" Spike pulled the boy out of the graveyard. The Turlo was right behind them though. The demon was 6ft and covered in dense and rotten smelling fur.
Fed up with running Xander stopped dead in his tracks and swung around.
"Xan, what are you doing?!" Spike asked in shock. The demon was catching up.
"This." Xander tossed the small axe that hung on his belt. It planted itself with a thud into the Turlo's head. The demon fell dead.
Xander turned to look at Spike and wasn't surprised to see the vamp smirk at him. "Well?"
"You couldn't have done that sooner?" Spike walked over and looked at the fallen demon. "Nice job."
"But of course." Xander smiled and made a little bow. As he did so the young man fell over clutching his head and screaming in pain.
"XANDER!!!!" Spike rushed and picked his lover up and with a burst of preternatural speed rushed him to the Magic Box. Kicking the door in everyone looked up in surprise.
"Xander! Spike what did you do to him?" Buffy yelled at him. She would have rushed forward had Dawn not grabbed her.
"Buffy! Spike would never hurt Xander." The witch said, angrily. She didn't understand the Slayer sometimes.
"Put him down here." Giles said moving the books and papers out of the way while Spike laid Xander down on the table. The boy had stopped screaming but was slipping in and out of consciousness.
"What happened?" Willow asked as Spike looked at the boy.
"We were dealing with the Turlo at the cemetery and Xander put it out of our misery. Then he just dropped to the ground and started screaming." Ever since Buffy had come back from the other side she'd been giving Spike nothing but shit.
"You sure you didn't do any thing?" Buffy sneered at the vampire. She wasn't prepared when the vampire grabbed her by the throat and lifted her off the ground.
"Shut up you bitch. I would never do any thing to hurt Xander. He's my lover!!" Spike would have crushed her throat but he was distracted by Xander's voice.
"Spike."
Dropping Buffy onto the floor, Spike rushed to his lover's side and took his hand. "I'm here pet." Spike stroked the boy's hair.
Walking over Giles helped the Slayer up. "You know, Buffy maybe you should be more considerate of the situation."
"You knew?" Looking at the others, "You all knew?" The Slayer dusted herself off and stormed out the shop.
"Hey Watcher, he's mumbling something." Spike looked at Giles, the Watcher was not surprised to see concern there. The vampire was very protective of Xander and Giles was glad someone was looking out for the boy.
"What's he saying?" Tara asked.
"Not sure. Sounds like one of Giles's prophecies." Spike said. The rest of the Scoobies gathered around the table to listen to Xander.
"Child of Love and Mischief
Child of Death and Life
Child of Love and Fire."
It became somewhat of a little mantra. He repeated it over and over again. Spike and the others looked to Giles for an answer.
Sighing Giles took his glasses off. "You four may want to sit down for this." Once they were all sitting down well except for Spike who refused to budge from his side. "A moth ago I found an ancient prophecy from Greece, it puzzled me until now."
Picking up a book Giles flipped a few pages and then read aloud,
"Child of War and Peace
Child of Love and Mischief
Child of Death and Life
Child of Love and Fire
Four souls sent through time
Olympus will return with their love and strength
Darkness banished and the Light Restored.
Child of Hate
Child of Pain and Darkness
Blood of Dahok and the One
Darkness shall reign eternal if the Light is doused."
"What does it mean?" Dawn asked. She looked around the others all had the same look of confusion on their faces.
"Well I've been doing some research and I've come up with that four Olympian children were borne during a great battle and were sent away until they could unite and bring the Greek Gods back so that a final great battle between them and a dark god from another dimension could take place." Giles took his glasses off and sighed. "Why Xander is now saying a part of it is puzzling."
"Wait if the children of the gods were sent away from them, wouldn't they be marked or something, so they could find each other?" Tara asked.
A light went off in Giles' head. "You're right. I had just found something. Ah here it is. Each shall be marked with the signs of the families. A sword, an arrow and bow, a heart and the sign of infinity."
Spike looked at Xander. The boy had finally quitted down. "Xanpet."
Xander murmured and moved his head. After a few seconds he opened his eyes. "Spike, what's going on?" Sitting up he said, "My head feels all fuzzy."
"Well pet you started screaming at the cemetery and I brought you here. Then you started spoutin' part of an ancient prophecy and stuff."
Xander sighed, "Great so what's the new big bad?"
"Are you sure you're all right Xander?" Giles asked out of concern. He was rather fond of the boy.
"Well except for the slight headache, I'm okay," Xander answered leaning against Spike.
Giles then proceeded to fill the boy in on what he'd missed. He caught the look that passed between Xander and Spike. “Is there something you’d like to add?”
“Well the thing is I have a sword shaped birth mark and Spike has the bow and arrow.” Xander said.
“Were is it?” Dawn asked out of curiosity.
Xander blushed and Spike coughed, Dawn smiled and said, “Oh!”
“Spike’s is on his chest, above the heart. Giles the other thing is I think we know who the other two are.” Xander said.
“Who?” The Watcher asked.
Xander looked at Spike who nodded and answered, “Faith and Angel.”
