Mount Olympus Circa 2,000 or so years ago:
Cjaos. Pure, unadulterated chaos. Everything had been going wrong thanks to Eli and his damn Way. Hades' was overflowing to the point Hades himself had collapsed from all the souls hitting him at once. He was now resting in one of the rooms in Ares' temple. He'd been sweating unbearably when Thantos and Celeste had brought him here and laid him down on the bed. The sweating had stopped but he'd yet to awaken. He'd been out of it ever since Persephone's death at Hercules' hand. For this, Hercules had been punished. his sentence was death and Tartarus. If Hades ever loved again, Zeus would be surprised.
Hera and Hestia were holding onto the babies for everyone so they could scramble to fix this mess. It had been a year of that frantic scrambling and nothing was helping. Everyone was exhausted. Hecate was trying to hold the world balanced long enough for them all to get some breathing room but Xena and her damn bard had ruined that. And it was becoming painfully obvious that the people did need the gods. But now it was too late.
Zeus stood by his brother's bed and gently brushed the hair off his face. Hades was their main power source right now as all dead were judged by his soul. Zeus noticed the lines of strain now. He knew he hadn't caught them earlier because his mind had been clouded but he saws them now.
Zeus watched as Hades' oldest son with Persephone wandered into the room. 4 year old Hugh was at a loss on how to help his daddy. He wasn't strong enough to judge yet. Zeus stared as the boy took his daddy's Soul Seeker gems off his daddy's arms and put them on himself. Some of the strain left Hades. Hugh curled up on his daddy's stomach and went to sleep.
Zeus was about to move him when suddenly they were all in the throne room. Including Hades and the Fates.
"Hail, Olympus, your time has come to rest," Clotho said.
"Dahok has risen and birthed The Way," Lachesis said.
"The Gods must sleep now," Atropos said.
"To awaken when the children come together, the portal to Olympus shall be found by the Seeker and his Warrior. Seeking and finding his baby siblings, his will be the key that unlocks the chest of the memory of Olympus. Alexander, Compassionate War and Maker, Wes, Lord of the Demons, Hugh, Seeker of Souls, Angelus, King of Bacchai, Faith, Lady of Discord's Promise, Giles, Child of Apollo, the warrior poet, William, Prince of Darkness and Death, Willow, Daughter of the Witch Queen, Tara child of love, Cordelia, daughter of Sky and Marriage. When they find each other, the door shall open."
The Gods looked at each other as the Fates gathered their children. Atropos had to be careful with Hugh as he'd already accepted his nature and his placement would have be done accordingly. He simply watched them from his mother's eyes in his father's face. He was more Hades than Persephone. William was the mixture of them. His father's eyes and his mother's build. His father's grace. And his mother's heart. His father had a heart but he preferred to keep it hidden. Wes went as Hugh did, Quietly. Wes looked up to his big brother even at 2. Giles and Faith were also placed uniquely. Preparing the way for things to come. William was placed in time where he was for a reason.
Willow and Cordelia went together with Alexander. Angelus was placed alone. Angelus, Bacchus' son. The fates removed the children from Olympus and then faced the Gods. "Sleep," they said. "Sleep until your children call for you."
So saying, the fates left for their cave to watch as the Gods rested. Ares curled up around Joxer in their temple with Hephy and Dite, Cupid cuddled against Strife in the temple of love with Bliss held between them. Discord and Bacchus held to each other in the darkness. Zeus and Hera slept together. Hades slept on a bed in the outer part of their temple. Poseidon slept in his own temple and Demeter laid down by Hades' bed. Her daughter's death had nearly destroyed him and the entire mortal world with him finally, she could admit he had loved her daughter. Apollo and Asclepius and Artemis shared a temple although not a bed. Hermes slept on and off as he was too slick for sleep to hold him indefinitely. And Olympus was silent.

In their cave in the hills beneath once glorious Olympus, the fates smile. "
"Now is the time. The children are all in place and the Prophecy can come to pass."
"Hear all, the spoke together, "With these words we begin the Great Awakening of Olympus."

Faith, Lady of Discord's Promise,
Giles, Child of Apollo, the warrior poet,
William, Prince of Darkness and Death,
Willow, Daughter of the Witch Queen,
Tara child of love,
Cordelia, daughter of Sky and Marriage.
When they find each other, the door shall open."
Rupert Giles sat in his store reading the ancient piece of Parchment that had been delivered to him just a few hours ago. He was in shock as he read it. He knew it was genuine and it was very obviously speaking of a prophesy and it was a prophesy that was apparently good for once but it still shocked him.
"Angelus, King of Vampires? William, Prince of Darkness and Death... Giles, son of the Warrior Bard Apollo...me? Wes, Lord of Demons... Cordelia, Willow, Xander, Faith...Who are Tara and Hugh?
Giles could not figure out who they were so he set that question aside for later contemplation. Right now he was thinking on what to do here. He knew he would have to call Angel, Wesley, Cordelia, Faith, Spike, Xander and Willow. Hugh and Tara, he had faith, would be there when they were needed.
The first step was to call Angel in LA A young man named Gunn said Angel had left with Wesley, Faith and Cordelia for Sunnydale last night which told Giles they were very likely already there. When he asked why, he was told Cordelia had a vision and that Angel simply said they were needed in Sunnydale. Although he seemed pissed as all fire when they left.
Giles sighed and made ready to have guests at sunset. Next he called Xander and Willow. For once Spike was not with Xander and although Giles suspected he knew why, he didn't say anything. If Angel was in town, Spike would have gone immediately to his sire.
Something stopped Giles from calling Buffy. Something about that felt wrong to him so he didn't. Giles turned his attention to the crate that had come with the scroll and contemplated it. He didn't know what was in it...
"Hey, G-man," Xander called as he and Willow entered the shop. "We're here!"
"Yes, I heard, Giles said drolly. Willow, is there any spell you know that can allow Angelus to come out and not try to kill us all?"
"Um...why?" Xander asked nervously.
"Because this prophesy specifically names Angelus and as he is named, he should be here..."
"Oh, no worries Giles," Cordelia said from the doorway. "It's been Angelus since he got out of hell. He...vampires never lose their souls. That was just the Council's party line. Relax Xander, Spike is safe with his sire. Buffy didn't get him last night."
"An...An...Angelus?" Giles stammered.
"Well, yah, Faith said from next to Cordelia. Wesley was behind them both. "Who else could have overthrown Trick's rule? Only one vamp besides Spike with that kind of power."
"A-are they here?" Giles asked. Willow was snickering so Giles suspected something was going on behind him.
"Right behind you Rupert," Angel...Angelus said. Giles jumped at how close the voice was. "Now, what's so important that you called those two and Gunn called me saying you'd called the hotel looking for me?"
"A...A prophesy," Giles said. "And a mystery box that I don't think we can open yet. Two of the people named in this prophecy still aren't here."
"What is the prophecy? Wesley asked. Giles sighed and read it aloud for them. Once they heard it, they all felt something stirring in them. Spike was only half awake but even he felt something stirring.
"Now," Giles said. "From what I can figure, Spike is the Prince of Darkness and Death. his name was William at one time. Angelus is Obviously the King of Bacchai which is the Ancient Greek word for Vampire. Wesley I would think is The Lord of Demons. Cordelia, Willow and Xander are obvious. As am I as well as Faith. What I cannot figure out is who are Tara and Hugh?"
"Hugh is Soul Seeker...big brother," Wesley said in a half trance. He tried to help daddy...He did something...took something..."
"Wesley!" Cordelia yelled to bring him out of the Trance. He'd done that four times already and it scared the bejeesus out of her. He looked at her blankly as he came back.
"Again?" He asked wearily. Everyone nodded and Wesley sighed. He looked at Angelus as the big vampire sat on the floor holding Spike. The box called him as strongly as it called all of them.
"So, when does Hugh get here?" Angelus asked. Giles sighed.
"I don't know. Soon I hope..."
Giles trailed off as Buffy stormed into the shop.
"Hey, where were my patrol people? And why are you here Angel? I told you not to come back..."
"Mistreatment of me childe, Buff. not something' y' should have done. We're having a meetin' an' Giles called us all here so since he didn't call ya, I'd say ya aren't welcome."
Buffy stared at Angelus as he moved Spike to Xander's lap and walked over to her. "I'd leave if I were you Buffy. I'm not very happy with you for attacking one of my two mates."
Xander made an 'Eeep' noise realizing Angelus was speaking about him being the second mate. His dark lover hadn't forgotten the one night when he was psycho after all.
"Buffy, this does not concern you," Giles said. "You should go."
"All prophecies on the hellmouth concern me. I stop them from coming to pass," Buffy said.
"This one is supposed to come to pass, Buffy," a girl's voice said from behind her causing Buffy to hit the floor in a battle crouch.
"My name is Tara," the girl said. I'm the daughter of Love. What was left out of the prophecy is that I would be 'Raised by the Fates as the child of two worlds.' I'm glad to meet you all finally. We've been waiting for you all to come together in just the right way for so long. William, Wesley, Hugh is coming. You three are key in waking your father. You're all strong enough now to accept your godheads..."
"No!" Buffy yelled. "No one here is anything special! They all belong to me!"
"No, we don't." Angelus said coldly. "The day we belong to you, Tartarus really will freeze over. Shut up and get out."
Tara chuckled as Angelus backed Buffy out of the shop and then slammed the door in her face. She then turned back to everyone else.
"As I was saying, Angelus, I can see your father Bacchus in you. Willow, you are a red headed Hecate. Giles, you are Apollo with no ego. Cordelia, I see both your parents in you. Zeus and Hera. Faith, you are your mother's daughter. Xander is all three of his father's mixed together. Perhaps when this is over I'll have time to explain everything of you. For now, Willow, prepare wards. There are too many lost souls in this town for Hugh to be anywhere unshielded not even his mate, the Warrior can protect him from this many."
Willow nodded and walked to the center of the shop and set wards to be snapped into place the instant Tara told her to.
Giles sighed and so they waited. An hour after sunset, the door to the shop was shoved open and two men stumbled in. Two men and a three headed dog.
"Now Willow!" Tara said. Willow nodded and the wards were snapped into place. The smaller of the two men sighed as the pressure he'd felt building suddenly stopped.
"Wesley, Spike, may I present to you, Hugh Dis Pendragon. Soul Seeker and finder of lost people. His mate is Armond Marceaux, Warrior son of Ares, God of War."
"The Warrior and the Seeker," Giles said softly. Armond turned piecing dark eyes on him.
"What of it?" he demanded.
"Nothing," Tara placated. "We've just been waiting for you. Hugh, would you open the box please?"
The young man with black hair, emerald green eyes, a blue diamond earring and pale skin dressed all in black nodded. He had no idea who this girl was but she obviously knew him. He touched the box and it opened instantly.
"Hear me mothers," Tara said. "The memory of Olympus is Opened!"
They all stared as the bright flash of light opened the chest from Hugh's touch. His mate had grabbed his arm and pulled him back from it when the light started and then Tara spoke those strange words. Now they were staring at the contents of the chest. There was something in there that seemed to glow to each of them.
Giles picked up a Lyre, Xander a Hammer and and a dagger, Faith picked up a double snake armband with two golden apples hanging from the snakes' mouths, Angelus picked up and enameled Hunting Horn and a bow, Spike picked up a heavy collar made of gold and shimmering. Wesley picked up a dagger with a blood red ruby in it's hilt. Willow picked up a Diadem with the Goddess symbol on it. Tara took a delicate pink bottle from the chest, Cordelia picked a peacock feather broach and a small lightning bolt. Armond lifted a dagger shaped earring and replaced the blue diamond earring Hugh wore with it.
"My Mate," Armond said firmly as he pulled Hugh into a tight hug. "You are my mate."
Hugh nodded not giving him an argument as a violent shaking filled the store. A crystal Giles had kept for a long time fell off its shelf and fell to the floor shattering. A billow of smoke came from the shard and when it cleared, a blond man in hunters leathers sat there looking around blearily.
"OW!" he finally said as he looked around. Seeing the chest opened his eyes flew to Tara who nodded.
"Welcome back Uncle Iolaus," she said. We're just about to open the door now. It's almost time."
Iolaus, the blond man nodded. he knew Tara. He'd watched her before the fates had put him in the crystal so he could rest. He saw Hugh and choked.
"Oh, my gods does he ever look like his father..."
"Yes, he does. Children, bring your talismans together into the center of the room and form a circle," Tara said. "It's time to go home. Warrior, stay by your mate." Armond nodded and he and Cerberus stood by Hugh.
Tara directed all of the Lost Children to touch their symbols together in the center of the circle and think of the place their hearts told them was home. It wasn't working until a black haired man skidded in and fell into the circle. A ring he wore touched Hugh's bands which caused them all to start glowing.
"You're late Uncle Ethan," Tara said as they faded out of the Magic Box front room and reappeared in the Throne Room of Olympus. Its Splendor took their breath away and lying on a bed in the center of the room was a man Spike, Wesley and Hugh knew instinctively.
"Go and find your parents," Tara told them all. "Touch them with your talismans to awaken them."
Giles headed for a golden temple watching as Ethan headed to another temple near it and went in slowly. Giles would see who Ethan was related to later. Right now, he had to awaken Apollo.
Angelus sensed his parents were not all together and went to the one who was alone first. He gently blew the horn he carried in his grasp at the same time Giles strike a string on his Lyre. The reactions were instantaneous. Bacchus woke to see Angelus standing over him and Apollo woke to Giles.
In another temple, Tara and Xander stood over four people. Tara opened her bottle and Xander tapped the hammer and the dagger together waking the four people.
Angelus and Bacchus left the temple where a woman lay as Faith entered and went to a pink and red temple where two adults and a little boy were sleeping. Angelus picked up his bow and uconciously called an arrow to him. At the same time, Faith's armband's apples made a musical sound. The woman woke when that happened as the three beings on the bed woke when Angelus fired his arrow straight up.
Willow stood over a bed in a dark temple holding her knife and thinking on how to do this. Finally, she just ran the blade over a whetstone by the bed and the woman woke.
Hugh, Armond, Wesley and Spike stood around the man on the bed and watched him sleep. the three who were his sons calmly joined hands and focused their power, unconsciously, on the man on the bed willing him to wake at the same time Cordelia set her broach on the chest of a woman and the mini lightening bolt on the chest of a man and watched as they shook himself awake. Once all the gods had awakened, a great shaking took place and Iolaus came out of another temple he's gone to check on something. The gods who had been sleeping suddenly appeared in the main room with their children and all over Olympus, the minor gods began to awaken.
"It is done," Clotho said.
"Olympus has awakened," Lachesis said.
"Let Dahok know fear," Atropos added.
"For now, he will pay for all of his crimes!" They said together.
